Route description

The cable car will take you first to Medvědín, where the whole cycle route begins. From the top station of the cable car, you then take the K13A cycle path down a wide path with beautiful panoramic views for less than 1 kilometre to the old mountain road, where you turn left down to Horní Mísečky.

In Horní Mísečky you will pass Jilemnice bouda and about 100 m after the bus stop turn left off the road onto the K1A cycle path. Just by the forest there is a crossroads where you turn right towards Janova Hora and follow the K10 cycle path. On the way, you can stop at the Jája lookout, next to which the route runs. You will find a sometimes slightly rocky forest path, gently descending down the slopes of Mechovince, Černá skála and Janova Hora.

The K10 cycle route will lead you to the Rovinka crossroads, where you can refresh yourself in a popular buffet. Continue along the forest asphalt on the K13 cycle route to Labská. At the crossroads near Třídomí you turn onto the K11 cycle route, which will take you to Bedřichov, from where it is only a short walk to the centre of Špindlerův Mlýn.

This is a less demanding route, using the cable car with almost no climb, leading mostly on sandy-clay roads and forest asphalt roads without car traffic. This cycle route is also suitable for families with older children.
