Szrenica (Czech: Jínonoš, German: Reifträger) is located on the Polish side of the Krkonoše Mountains in the main ridge, about 200 m from the Czech-Polish border, 3.5 km south of Szklarska Poręba. The summit of Szrenica lies at an altitude of 1,362 m.
Szrenica, with its pointed peak protruding from the border ridge, is one of the dominant features of the western part of the Krkonoše Mountains. The granite composition of the mountain is evident in the scree slopes and numerous rock towers.
The Szrenica chalet has stood on the summit since 1922, and below the summit on the northern slope is the upper station of the SKI ARENA Szrenica chairlift, which also serves as a lift for one of the largest downhill skiing areas on the Polish side of the Karkonosze Mountains.
From the Polish side, you can reach the vicinity of the summit by chairlift from Szklarska Poręba and then walk along the black-marked tourist trail, approximately 500 m long, to the summit itself. From the Czech side, access is possible by turning off the red-marked Czech-Polish Friendship Trail.
