Route description
The trip starts in the center of Špindl at the Summit Sport, from where you go uphill straight up and after about 900 meters, when the steepest part ends, you continue straight past the gazebo. If you have a stroller, turn right along the asphalt road and as soon as you can, turn left and continue along the panel road to the Wood Road, which will take you to the excursion destination Bouda na Bílého Labi. Here you can taste something delicious from the grill and smokehouse in the summer, or refresh yourself in the restaurant.
True nature lovers can still walk further to the Devil's Ditch, which is located nearby and was built as part of the most interesting system of dams in the Giant Mountains, preventing floods.
On the way back, take the asphalt road back down to Špindlerův Mlýn via Dívčí lávky. They have super draft lemonade in the buffet.
You can also take the whole trip by bike, with children in strollers or with your pets. At the finish line, a traditional hut with a very authentic atmosphere awaits you.
Important information
Except for one passage, the whole road is perfectly passable with prams and bicycles in summer and autumn.
In spring, there may still be snow on the road in places.
