Route description

This section is thematically focused on the geological development of the Krkonoše region.

It starts in the town park near the statue of the Spindleruv Mlynář in front of the Savoy Hotel.

Head right up the Elbe River following the blue markings. On your right you pass a wooden bridge over the river, the Adventure Park, the refreshment shop Srub pod Medvědínem until you reach the Medvědín cable car. From the Medvědín cableway, continue straight ahead for about 400 m and follow the hiking signs and turn left onto the forest path. The forest path will lead you over the black and red slopes to the Bobsled Track and the Monkey Park Rope Centre, where there is also a free Rope Park for children.

Enter the road and continue left. You will pass the Hotel Montana on your right. Below the Lebeda restaurant, turn left and walk through the forest, which takes you back to the Elbe River. At the river, turn right and follow the river back to the city park, where the circuit ends.
