From Špindlerova Bouda to Luční bouda and Pláně

The cross-country skiing trail starts at Špindlerova Bouda, where you can take a bus from Špindlerův Mlýn.

From Špindlerova Bouda you start on the Czech-Polish Friendship Trail, you will have a more demanding climb on the red trail for about 1.5 km. Then turn off the red trail and follow the pole markings to Čertovo and Stříbrné vrchší, from where there is a long descent to Luční bouda, where you stop for refreshments and rest.

From Luční bouda you will have a long climb of 1 km to the memorial to the Mountain Victims and then a steep descent to Výrovka, where you can stop and recharge your batteries.

You then head to the Cottage at the Crossroads and continue towards Klínovka, from where you take a pleasant route along the green markings, which leads along the contour to the Na Pláni restaurant, where the trip ends. You are a short walk from the top station of the Pláň cable car, so after a snack in the restaurant you can take the cable car down. The cable car is open until 4 p.m. in winter.

A beautiful and moderately challenging trip that leads through one of the most beautiful parts of the Giant Mountains.
