Adventure in the picturesque valley of St. Peter

The route starts in the picturesque valley of Svatý Petr, providing an ideal starting point for your ski mountaineering adventure. Prepare to ascend the Stoh slope, where the use of harnesses is recommended to tackle the steep terrain, ensuring the necessary stability and comfort.

Follow the blue hiking trail leading along the "Stoh Slope Trail". This section is renowned for its technical difficulty, so extra care and caution is required.   This is an ideal opportunity to test your skills and abilities in challenging terrain. 

After overcoming the treacherous section of the "Wedge Route", a beautiful and gentler terrain opens up in front of you towards the Wedge Huts. This part of the route offers the perfect opportunity to rest and refresh. 

The next stage will take you along the green trail to the mountain "Cottage at the crossroads" and then along the red trail to the Výrovka cottage. These sections promise a pleasant ride through breathtaking nature. From the Výrovka cottage you continue along the green trail towards Dlouhý důl. This part of the route is pleasant and less demanding, allowing you to recharge your batteries and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding nature. It will also take you back to the valley of Svatý Petr.

The whole route offers a unique combination of technical challenges and beautiful natural scenery that will delight the heart of any experienced ski mountaineer. Besides steep climbs and technical descents, you will enjoy scenic sections in close proximity to natural sights.
