Route description

Get on your bike in the centre of the picturesque mountain town of Špindlerův Mlýn and set off along the marked K1A cycle path, which will take you to the first interesting place. The first interesting stop is the rescue point TK858, a unique place marked with a sign with a code. It is a guarantee that in case of need, the cyclist will be able to quickly and easily identify his location.

After passing this point, you continue further along the indicated cycle path until the cycle path takes you to Horní Mísečky to the wooden owl statue. This statue, which holds a piece of local culture, is an ideal place for a few photos and a short rest. After this pleasant stop, you will take the K10 cycle route, which will take you to Jáji Lookout. Here you will enjoy breathtaking views. The route will then take you to a refreshment area called Rovinka where a well-deserved refreshment follows.

After regaining your strength, you will take the K13 cycle route, which will take you to the Třídomí area. Here your route will change to K11 and you will reach the southern edge of Labská. From the southern edge you go a short distance along a road called Jelení. You will pass the Krakonoš guesthouse, where you will find another refreshment option, after which you should turn right and join the road that will lead you to the Labská dam, where you can refresh yourself with beautifully cold water on hot summer days.

From the dam to Špindlerův Mlýn, a path will lead you along the right bank through Tabulové boudy.

The whole cycle route is moderately difficult. You will be delighted by its uniqueness, views, surrounding landscape and the historical touch of the dam site.
