• Respect the legal obligation to use winter tires from 1 November to 30 April.
• It is mandatory to enter Špindlerův Mlýn only on winter tires. For winter tires, a minimum tread depth of 4 mm is permitted!
• There is a Snow Chains road sign on some roads in Špindlerův Mlýn. Instructs the driver of a motor vehicle with three or more wheels to continue driving only after the snow (anti-slip) chains have been fitted on at least two drive wheels. Don't underestimate this fact.

• If you are staying in Svatý Petr, Labská or Okružní, in case of a snow disaster, it is more difficult to get to these locations. We strongly recommend snow chains here. Contact your hotelier about the condition of the road.
• Please note that the road in Špindlerův Mlýn does not salt and there may be snow on the roads.
• Good advice: if you are not a capable driver and you feel that you will not go to the hotel, we recommend that you park in the center of Špindlerův Mlýn in the paid Parking Hotel Central - HERE or in the parking lot P1 - HERE.
