Monkey Park rope park
Description
MonkeyPark is situated in a quiet part of Špindlerův Mlýn - in Bedřichov, close to the entrance to the popular Bobsled track.
The longest rope park in the Giant Mountains has a total length of 432 m (medium difficulty) in the longest route, 356 m (medium difficulty) in the medium route and 296 m (easy difficulty) in the short route.
In the longest route, MonkeyPark has 32 obstacles, with the hardest difficulty being 3 out of a five-level series. It is aimed at the general public, including children from 140 cm tall. It is designed and conceived in such a way that it can be completed even by an absolutely untrained hiker or a child from a given height. Yet (or precisely because of this) even this visitor will take away a wonderful experience.
The climber gradually overcomes obstacles suspended on ropes between trees at a height of 2 - 8 metres. Special "bases" are attached to the trees between each obstacle, on which the climber moves to the next obstacle after overcoming one obstacle and can also rest.
The location of the MonkeyPark directly in a mature forest enhances the whole experience, because unlike in artificial rope centres, the visitor is still in nature, under the treetops "between heaven and earth".
