Brádlerovy boudy
Accommodation description
Brádlerovy Boudy is situated on a mountain slope 1 156 m above sea level in a quiet environment of the Giant Mountains. It offers a beautiful view of the surrounding ridges and the valley where Špindlerův Mlýn is located. They have a convenient starting position for cross-country skiers and ski mountaineers, as well as for cycling and hiking with a guarantee of snow until the spring months.
The rooms have modest amenities. Toilet facilities are not in the rooms, they are shared in the corridor.
Meals offer excellent home cooking, overnight soups, blueberry dumplings, ice cream sundaes, pancakes with whipped cream and much more. There is a bar with a wide range of hot and cold drinks.
In winter you can try the unique winter bivouac, or outdoor sleeping. In total, there are 3 bivouacs with 2 sleeping places each. There are also skialps, a Scott ski test centre, an ice climbing wall or downhill skiing and snowboarding. For downhill skiing and snowboarders there is a private lift (300 m POMA), which is mainly for beginners and intermediates. The location and altitude allow skiing at least until Easter each year, when there is usually no snow elsewhere, so the ski season ends much later. For more demanding skiers there are downhill runs with lifts in the Špindlerův Mlýn ski resort (at Medvědín or Svatý Petr). For the return to the Bouda, it is possible to order a snowmobile or a scooter. The location on the Krkonoše ridges allows short and longer trips on cross-country skis, even for beginners, on marked winter trails without overcoming greater height differences.
In summer, there is a children's playground with swings, a sandpit and a trampoline, a 2.5 m long slide, a terrace overlooking the valley and a pond for refreshment or the possibility of renting barbecues with fuel.
You can relax in the sauna.
