Route description
Your cycling experience begins in the very center of Špindlerův Mlýn, from where you will head upstream of the Elbe River towards the signpost U Dívčí lávky. On the way you will pass the picturesque restaurant Myslivna, cross the road and continue along route no. K16 towards Bouda u Bílého Labe.
After locking the bikes at Bouda, you can walk to the Devil's Ditch. This dam work is proof of the mastery of our ancestors.
Back to Špindlerův Mlýn you follow the yellow sign along the Timber Road.
This cycling route is easy, suitable for families with children and for those who like to admire the natural beauty of the surrounding countryside.
Important information
We recommend you to lock your bike at the Hut at the White Elbe and take a short, about 3 km long, hiking trip to the Devil's Ditch.

A mountain chalet located in the Giant Mountains about 5 km from the center of Špindlerův Mlýn at an altitude of 1000 meters on the left bank of the White Elbe. It is situated in the White Elbe Mine at the crossroads of four hiking trails from Špindlerův Mlýn, from Špindlerova bouda and from Luční bouda.
The Devil's Ditch stream flows through the Devil's Valley above Špindlerův Mlýn and flows into the White Elbe from the right at the U Bílého Labe hut.
