The most sun-drenched downhill runs can be found in the Medvědín ski area, which is also the higher peak of the entire Špindlerův Mlýn ski resort with its 1,235 metres above sea level.
At Medvědín you can ski on the easy Blue - Training - slope 1100m long, which follows the Black slope 1000m long and offers an excellent downhill experience for experienced skiers. The Red slope is 2400m long and with its 60m is one of the widest downhill runs in the Czech Republic.
Express four-seater lifts will take you to the top of Medvědín to an altitude of 1235 m above sea level either from Špindlerův Mlýn or from Horní Mísečky.
The top of Medvědín offers a magical mountain panorama and a starting point for both cross-country skiers and ski mountaineers - Vrbatova bouda, Sněžné jámy, Kotel, Harrachov, Rokytnice nad Jizerou.
Parking is located just 50 m from the bottom station of the Medvědín cable car and has a capacity of about 300 cars. The ski bus stop (Parking Medvědín) is within 100 m from the Medvědín cable car.
In the Medvědín Ski Resort you can ski on one ski pass, which is valid on all slopes in the entire Ski Resort Špindlerův Mlýn and Horní Mísečky.
