Disc golf is one of the most popular sports with a flying saucer, derived from classic golf.
It originated in the 70s in the USA and is gaining more and more fans around the world.
The aim of the game, as in golf, is to complete the hole with as few strokes as possible - i.e. throws.
The disc is thrown from the designated "teeing area" to the target (hole). The hole consists of a steel basket. The average distance of the hole is around 50 meters and can be reached in three throws. After the first throw, the player throws from the place where the disc stopped and continues until it hits the target.
The winner is the one who completes the entire course with the fewest throws.
